Discovery Kits

Discovery Kits are a free resource designed for children (age 0-6) and their families to explore and learn about new topics together! Each kit comes in an RWL tote bag equipped with books and activities focused on a theme or topic. 

All discovery kits can be found in our catalogue.

Search for a theme or topic that interests you, choose a kit, and place a hold on it just as you would a book!

Discovery Kits have the following parameters:

• Have a three week loan period,
• Can be placed on hold,
• Can be renewed, and
• Have a limit of two per patron
• Require a library card to check out

Please note: patrons may be charged replacement and/or processing fees for missing pieces or lost kits.
