Computers & Internet
The Region of Waterloo Library (RWL) offers a variety of computer and internet related information and assistance.
All branches provide free access to computers, the internet, and Wi-Fi.
- All users of the internet at the Region of Waterloo Library must accept RWL’s Internet Use Agreement before accessing the public computers. Any use of RWL public computers, assume the user’s acceptance of this Agreement. A parent or guardian must accept the Internet Use Agreement on behalf of their minor child(ren).
- All public computers provide unfiltered access to the internet (except where required by the Region of Waterloo to block illegal content). Any public computer may be used by any member of the public (i.e., without age restrictions).
- Parents/guardians are responsible for monitoring their child’s internet use, and RWL recommends that parents accompany their children when using the internet.
- Patrons must restart the public computer when finished using it, in order to protect their personal information and privacy. Patrons should never save any personal information on public computers.
- Internet use statistics will be kept.
- Patrons should refer to computer time limits posted in the branch.
