Convert your old family photos, videos and cassette tapes to digital format and enjoy them for years to come! The Memory Lab is available at the Ayr Branch Library for use by anyone (no library card required).

The Memory Lab includes:

• Flat bed scanner
• Film/negative scanner
• VHS to DVD conversation kit
• Cassette to MP3 conversion kit
• Laptop with DVD drive and web-based photo/video/audio editing software
• How-to guide to help get you started

Media storage items (i.e., DVDs, CDs, USB sticks) may be purchased from the library, if required.

Memory Lab sessions must be booked in advance using the online Reserve a Room calendar or by contacting any Region of Waterloo Library branch or Ask a Librarian.

Memory Lab users under 18 years of age must have the Memory Lab Use Agreement signed by a parent or guardian. Individuals under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while using the Memory Lab.
