TD Summer Reading Club 2024

TD Summer Reading Club logo

The TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, interests, and abilities. This free Club is offered at more than 2,000 public libraries across Canada. The Club celebrates Canadian authors, illustrators, and stories, and inspires kids to explore the fun of reading. This is key to building a lifelong love of reading.

This year’s Summer Reading Club (SRC) encourages kids to explore the wonders of our universe and then curl up with some good books under the starry sky!

Stack of booksHere’s how it works:

  • Week of June 24: Visit your RWLibrary Branch to sign up for the Summer Reading Club. We will give you some materials to get you started on your summer reading adventure!

    • Spend time reading to earn ballots for end of the summer prize draws. 30 minutes spent reading earns one draw ballot.
    • Enjoy special programs that will help you explore your community and your local branch. Find all upcoming events in our calendar.
    • Pickup your Passport to the Stars - visit other RWL branches and/or attend programs to collect stamps in your passport. Collect 5 stamps throughout the summer to be entered into a special draw!
  • Enter your ballots in the draw boxes by the last week of August to be eligible for prizes. Check at your branch for the final date for your location.
  • Week of September 2-7: Prize winners will be notified
