TD Summer Reading Club logo

The TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, interests, and abilities. This free Club is offered at more than 2,000 public libraries across Canada. The Club celebrates Canadian authors, illustrators and stories, and inspires kids to explore the fun of reading. This is key to building a lifelong love of reading.

This year’s Summer Reading Club (SRC) encourages kids to discover more in their library, their community, and their world!

  • Visit your RWLibrary Branch to sign up for the Summer Reading Club, starting on June 19th. We will give you some materials to get you started on your summer reading adventure!
  • Spend time reading to earn ballots for end of the summer prize draws. 30 minutes spent reading earns one draw ballot.
  • Borrow materials from your RWLibrary Branch to earn more ballots! You can earn one ballot per day by checking out items.
  • Enjoy special programs that will help you check out something interesting in your community including a trip to a beekeeper, the fire station, Castle Kilbride, Emergency Services, Waste Management, and more! See our full list of programs and events happening at your local RWL Branch using our online Events Calendar
  • Collect cards and meet the mascot at each of RWL’s locations. Can you collect all 12 cards?
